Does the burn function work in Vista?
I select files and hit the burn button and nothing happens..
Should it not go to a temporary folder like XP does - or am i just impatient and this hasn't been implemented yet?
i don't have a cd/dvd in the drive but with XP that wasnt required. The files went to a temp folder until you are ready to burn - no go in Vista ....yet?
Thanks

Burn function in vista beta 2 - buld 5384
Did you try with the CD or DVD in the drive? My files burn just fine to my CD-RW here. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

In a vista directory 'tree', there is a "burn" button on the 'ribbon' across the top of the directory listing when a file folder is selected (right pane). When I click this button with/without a CD in the burner, I get a 'blank' window with no cues to burning a CD of the selected file folder. This may be the 'burn function' that palmet is referring to; I'm not sure.
When I drag a file folder to the CD/DVD burning drive, there is no problem burning the CD. Also additional file folders can be added, one after another, to the CD.
Andre Da Costa [Extended64], what procedure are you using to burn a CD? Thank you...vaughn_k !:-)
